Due to some spam on the main site and the message board lately, registration is now on admin approval. I try to be quick about approving users, but sometimes there are delays because I have to check the validity of the registration.
I have a question concerning the "Just Like the Rifle" fanfic index. For some reason, I am unable to access the "manage stories" function under account information. Actually, it's not an option to choose from. I was wondering if this is an issue that has arisen, as I seem to be unable to email my concern from the site itself? Anything you can do to help would be appreciated. I'd really like to be more active in updating and posting fics there.
I was unaware of the difficulty, but I'll look into it. I tried to upgrade the version of efiction we run on, but ran into problems and had to "roll back" to the previous version.
Okay, I just looked into it, and I can access it just fine. The link is here
. I'll do some more testing with the site; I know the left-hand menu is a little strange right now, and I'm not sure why, as I make all changes on my computer and then upload.
Thanks for your prompt response! I clicked on the link you provided and got the following message: You are not authorized to access this function. Nothing like adding to the strangeness of the menu. :\
I am, and what's weird is now that I checked the fan archive again... I have all the options back. *facepalm* Weird. Thanks for your help, though.
Okay, I figured out what the problem was. Somehow, the option to submit stories was turned off. It should be okay now. It was also set up strangely on the e-mail function, and that's been fixed.
Ahh, okay. Explains why I can now manage stories and such. Thanks again! :D
No problem. :) I think this happened when I rolled back to 2.0, because the 3.3 version wouldn't install.
Ahhh, that makes sense, then. Technology's wonderful, isn't it?
